Allowed Bags — Official Policy
The following bag rules are from the official Nocturnal Wonderland Hours and Info page at nocturnalwonderland.com.
- Clear bag — must not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
- Small clutch bag (clear or non-clear) — must not exceed 6" x 9", with or without handle or carrying straps
- Hydration pack (clear or non-clear) — no more than two main compartments and one smaller compartment; must be empty upon entry
- Reusable water bottle — must be empty upon entry
You can bring your water bottle and hydration pack in empty and fill them at water refill stations inside the festival.
Festival Essentials
Bring these into the festival- Valid government-issued photo ID — required for entry, no exceptions. 18+ to enter, 21+ for alcohol and VIP.
- Festival wristband — do not leave this at camp
- Allowed bag (clear bag or small clutch within size limits)
- Empty reusable water bottle or empty hydration pack
- Phone with festival app downloaded and schedule saved offline
- Portable phone charger — keep it charged before you head in
- Cash and card — some vendors may prefer one or the other
- Earplugs — optional but your ears will thank you
- Comfortable shoes built for dancing on varied terrain
- Light layers for late night — temperatures drop after midnight
- Sunscreen if attending the early afternoon hours — festival opens at 3PM but the sun is still strong
Camping Gear

- Tent — appropriate for warm weather with ventilation
- Sleeping bag or lightweight blanket for overnight temperatures
- Tent footprint or ground tarp

- Cooler with food, non-alcoholic drinks, and ice
- Ready-to-eat meals and snacks for the campsite
- Reusable plates, utensils, and cups for camp cooking
- Trash bags — leave your campsite clean
- Battery-powered fan for tent ventilation during warm afternoons
- Shade canopy or tarp for your campsite
- Headlamp or lantern for navigating camp at night
- Wet wipes and hand sanitizer
- Sunscreen and lip balm with SPF
- Portable phone charger or solar charger
- Earplugs for sleeping — campground stays active late
- Lock for your campsite valuables
Stock up before Devore. Grocery and supply options near Glen Helen Regional Park are very limited. Fill your cooler, buy your propane, and pick up any gear you are missing before you leave the San Bernardino or Ontario area. Do not count on finding what you need once you are close to the venue.
Leave These at Home

- Aerosol products and cans
- Balls and frisbees
- Costumes resembling public safety uniforms
- Drones and remote-controlled aircraft
- Drugs, drug paraphernalia, and illegal substances
- Gas masks
- Glass, cans, cups, and coolers (inside the festival)
- Laser pointers and air horns
- Markers, pens, and spray paint
- Massagers
- Outside food or beverages including alcohol and candy (inside the festival)
- Over-the-counter medication
- Pets
- Professional photo or video equipment with detachable lenses or tripods
- Red-colored light-up wands, batons, or lightsabers
- Stickers and flyers
- Tents, large umbrellas, chairs, and blankets (inside the festival)
- Toy guns, water guns, and slingshots
- Weapons of any kind
- Wind chairs and sofas

Totems

- Maximum height 10 feet
- Lightweight materials only — foam or PVC, no solid metal
- Poles no thicker than 1 inch in diameter
- Inflatables attached to totems must be deflated when entering
- Any totem deemed dangerous or promoting illegal activity or hate speech will not be permitted
