Camping requires two separate passes. You must have a 2-day festival wristband AND a camping pass to access the campground. A camping pass alone does not grant festival entry. You must be 18 or older with valid photo ID to enter the campground. Source: nocturnalwonderland.com.

What to Bring
The following packing suggestions are general knowledge based on camping at outdoor Southern California festivals. They are not sourced from official Nocturnal Wonderland documentation.
- Tent rated for warm weather — September nights in the Inland Empire can still be warm
- Sleeping bag or lightweight blanket for cooler late-night temperatures
- Small propane camp stove and propane tank (4 lbs or under per group)
- Cooler with food, non-alcoholic drinks, and plenty of ice
- Reusable water bottle — empty when you enter the festival, refillable inside
- Portable phone charger — cell service can get congested at peak festival times
- Sunscreen — September afternoons at Glen Helen can be very warm
- Layers for late-night temperatures once the sun goes down
- Cash — some vendors may be cash only
- Earplugs for sleeping — music and campground noise continues late
Camping Tips
Tip 01
Waterfront Camping Gets You Closest to the Entrance
Waterfront Camping is described as steps away from the festival entrance. If minimizing your walk to and from the festival each day matters to you, this is the option worth the price difference over standard Tent Camping. Lakeside Camping had similar proximity benefits but is sold out.
Tip 02
Prepare for Heat During the Day
Glen Helen Regional Park sits in the Inland Empire where September afternoons regularly reach the 90s. Your tent will heat up significantly during the day. Shade structures, a battery-powered fan, and getting back to the campsite during cooler hours all help. This is general knowledge based on regional climate patterns.
Tip 03
Leave Prohibited Items at Home
Anything confiscated at the campground will not be returned. Butane torches and steel knives are specifically called out as not allowed. Review the full prohibited items list on the official camping FAQ before packing. When in doubt, leave it out. Source: nocturnalwonderland.com.
Tip 04
Sort Out Camper Registration Early
If someone in your group wants to join your campsite but did not purchase their own camping pass, camper registration is available the week of the festival. Do not wait until you arrive. Confirm the process on nocturnalwonderland.com closer to September.
