Additional Costs to Budget For
- Official shuttles: Approximately $75 plus fees per person. Runs from Seattle to The Gorge. Convenient if flying into Seattle and not renting a car. Check basscanyon.com for current shuttle pricing and routes.
- Charging lockers: Available on site for $20 to $80 depending on locker size and duration. Useful if you do not want to carry a portable charger into the venue.
- Thursday Pre-Party: $73.41 per person if attending. Optional. Requires a separate festival wristband.
- On-site food and beverages: Priced at festival rates. Budget $50 to $100 per day inside the venue depending on your spending habits.

Ways to Reduce Your Bass Canyon Budget
- Bring food and drinks to camp. Everything you bring from home is significantly cheaper than buying inside the venue. Stock your cooler before you arrive.
- Split the camping pass across your group. One camping pass covers a vehicle and up to 6 people. The per person cost drops substantially when shared.
- Split the rental car cost. If flying in, a rental car split across four or five people costs less per person than individual rideshares.
- Book flights early. Prices to Seattle or Spokane in August increase as the festival approaches. Booking months in advance saves significantly.
- Buy gear before you go. Festival vendor prices for gear items are always higher than buying on Amazon or at an outdoor retailer beforehand.
- Set a daily cash limit. Decide what you are comfortable spending inside the venue each day before you go in.
