Camping Guide

Everything you need to know about camping at Aftershock 2026. Camping is at Cal Expo in Sacramento, not at Discovery Park where the festival takes place. Options range from Car and Tent to RV sites including full hookup with power, water, and sewer. Shuttle passes to the festival are sold separately and are required for every camper. Camping opens Wednesday September 30 with an exclusive pre-party.

Aftershock camping is at Cal Expo, not Discovery Park. Cal Expo is located at 1600 Exposition Blvd in Sacramento. Shuttle passes to and from the festival are sold separately per person per day and are not included with any camping pass. What Is Included With Every Camping Pass

Camping passes do not include festival admission, power or water hookups unless specifically noted, or shuttle passes to the festival. Festival passes and shuttle passes must be purchased separately.

Campgrounds open Wednesday September 30 for all campers, one day before the festival begins on Thursday October 1. The campground pre-party with Rock and Brews takes place on the Cal Expo grounds on Wednesday evening. Source: official Aftershock camping page.

Camping gives you re-entry privileges. Standard GA and VIP ticket holders cannot re-enter the festival once they leave each day. Camping wristband holders can go between Cal Expo and the festival during event hours. If re-entry matters to you, camping is one path. You must arrive in your RV to camp in the dedicated RV areas. An RV must be parked on each RV campsite. RV sites with power hookup accommodate 50 amp and 30 amp RVs. You must bring your own 50 to 75 feet of electrical cord to reach the power source. The Premium RV with Full Hookup option at Aftershock includes power, water, and sewer, making it more comprehensive than the hookup options at many other DWP festivals. Shuttle Passes Are Required Separately

This is the most important thing to understand about Aftershock camping. The campground is at Cal Expo, not at Discovery Park. Getting between Cal Expo and the festival requires a shuttle pass that is sold separately per person per day. Shuttle passes are not included with any camping pass. The Campground Pre-Party
